The Child Development Center is looking for dynamic professionals who love working with children and families for the following position:

Early Childhood Special Educator, beginning Fall 2012

The Child Development Center Region II in Sheridan, WY seeks a certified Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood special education and Wyoming PTSB certification required; experience working with children age 0-5 with disabilities with an emphasis on behavioral intervention preferred.

This position begins in August, 2011, exact date TBD. This is a full time position serving young children with disabilities in Sheridan and Johnson counties. Our preschool page has a copy of this year’s calendar for your reference; we follow the local school district schedule.

The ECSE is a member of a team of therapists and teachers working with children in our preschool and at other preschools in the community providing specialized, inclusive early childhood special education. Excellent organizational and collaborative skills are essential.

CDC offers very competitive wages and benefits based on education and early childhood experience. This position does require some summer ESY hours that are paid above our base salary scale.
