Services
Child Development Center Region II provides early intervention for children with developmental needs.  We currently serve over 222 children and families in our communities, helping them to attain skills to improve their overall abilities and to more fully succeed in the future.  We also provide over 600 free developmental screenings per year to children and families in Sheridan and Johnson Counties. 

Children with disabilities may function from mild/moderate to severe/profound.  Some examples are:

  • Speech / language delays
  • Orthopedic impairments
  • Health impairments
  • Hearing and visual impairments (deaf/blind)
  • Down's Syndrome
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Spina bifida
  • Fetal alcohol syndrome
  • Attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD)
  • Chromosomal abnormalities
  • Autism
We also provide:
  • Parenting classes and support.
  • Advice / consultation and referral to other agencies.
  • Training and support for local child care providers.
